Follow me on my frugal adventures as I find the best deals locally through couponing, group deal sites, and using other resources available. It's a tough economy, and I don't ever want to feel like I can't have what I want. As I find deals, I will share them with you, but I encourage you to share your findings as well, so we can learn from one another.

Walmart Complaint
My friend and I just got back from Walmart, the one on Roosevelt and Adams Avenue. It's like everyone in the store does not understand their corporate coupon policy or couponing in general. The cashier, supervisor, and customer service all agreed on the same thing - limit 1 coupon per order, not per purchase, and just because the amount of a coupon exceeds the amount of the item means that it can not be applied. Their corporate coupon policy says that there is no limit of the amount of coupons you may have, as long as you purchase enough items required on the coupon. It also states that overage may be given as cash or as credit. We did not have the policy on hand to show them so that was our fault, but they should know, they work there. So I sent their corporate customer service an email ratting them out. I'll let you guys know what they say. But for future reference, it is worth it to bring a copy of the store coupon policy with you although it kinda sounds stupid.
